The picture looks like this dish was made with yams instead of sweet potatoes. They have a different flavor and color and I don't consider them interchangeable. Did you use real sweet potatoes or yams and call them sweet potatoes?
I cooked this for thanksgiving. I think it would've been great if Sweet potatoes were actually sweet.
