Ratings & Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I've made this twice now and it was one of the best desserts I've had both times! I've made this twice now and it was one of the best desserts I've had both times! The only thing I'd recommend is that, based on other reviews, I used caramel sundae topping instead of melting caramels. I'm sure this makes it a lot less messy in preparation also. This tart is also best served at times when you have enough people present to eat it all in one sitting. After being in the refrigerator for a short time, the pie gets pretty "melty" and messy - still tastes great though! I suppose you could try refreezing it also.

This is very good, but you need enough people to finish it off during the first serving. I kept throwing it back in the freezer. Took us about 3 days to finish. That worked but it was really hard at times. aAso I left the apples off and only added them with to each slice as I served it. I even warmed the apples a bit. That was really good.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I was excited to try this, but was very disappointed with the results. I was excited to try this, but was very disappointed with the results. The caramel in the bottom is a bad, bad idea. It's impossible to cut when it's frozen, and even after being at room temp for a couple of hours, it was nearly impossible to get a fork through it. As a previous reviewer said, not worth the hassle.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from i recommend using Carmel Topping instead of heating the carmels up. i recommend using Carmel Topping instead of heating the carmels up. As i live in the North, a bag of carmels are hard to find. I used Carmel Topping for ice cream and it did not get hard. I left it in the fridge also instead of the freezer and it is a lot easier to cut. THANK YOU KRAFT! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS ONE!

I dont really care to much for apple pie filling, but I thought I would give it a try, and there are so many other elements, that it was worth it! I made it myself the next week, and this is definately a keeper!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It was very good and easy to make. It was very good and easy to make. My only recommendation would be to add a little sugar and nutmeg and heat the apple filling before putting on pudding mixture. Also, would like to try on a cheesecake instead of whipped topping, because it can get really messy with whipped topping.
