  • Place 6 of the bread slices in 13x9-inch baking pan sprayed with cooking spray. Cover with layers of half each of the sausage, apples and process cheese. Repeat layers.
  • Beat eggs, milk and seasonings with wire whisk until well blended. Pour over process cheese slices. Gently press remaining 6 bread slices into liquid to completely cover bread slices; cover. Refrigerate several hours or overnight.
  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Bake 50 min. to 1 hour or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Let stand 10 min. before cutting to serve.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from This was good, but I've had better egg casseroles. This was good, but I've had better egg casseroles. The apples seemed somewhat out-of-place. The bread being the top layer toasted nicely, but they looked kind of odd. Maybe sprinkling cheese on top would look better?
