HEAT oven to 350°F.
PREPARE cake batter and bake as directed on package for 24 cupcakes; cool completely. Meanwhile, use kitchen shears to cut 2 leaf shapes from each stick of gum.
PLACE sprinkles in small bowl. Spread cupcakes with frosting; dip in sprinkles.
DECORATE cupcakes with pretzels and gum pieces to resemble apples as shown in photo.
