Apple-Honey BBQ Pork Mini Sandwiches

Apple juice, honey and BBQ sauce make a tasty sauce for low-and-slow oven-cooked pork butt. Even tastier? The appetizer sandwiches you'll make with it.

What You Need

cups  KRAFT Original Barbecue Sauce
1-1/2
cups  KRAFT Hickory Smoke Barbecue Sauce

Tbsp.  apple juice

Tbsp.  honey
1
 pork butt (9 lb.)

Tbsp.  barbecue rub seasoning

 mini sandwich buns, split

Make It

HEAT oven to 300ºF.

MIX first 4 ingredients until blended; reserve 3/4 cup sauce.

PLACE meat, fat-side up, in roasting pan. Rub with barbecue rub seasoning; brush with reserved sauce.

BAKE 7 hours or until done (145ºF), brushing occasionally with remaining sauce. Cool slightly.

REMOVE meat from pan; shred with 2 forks. Return meat to pan; toss to evenly coat with sauce.

If you don't have a roasting pan, you can use a 13x9-inch baking pan instead.
