Note

We really love this recipe which was originally developed using our recently discontinued FRESH TAKE Cheese Bread Crumb Mix. We revised it to use KRAFT Shredded Cheese, SHAKE 'N BAKE Coating Mix and seasonings. Our Kraft Kitchens team has developed substitutions for the entire FRESH TAKE lineup so that you can continue to enjoy the great taste of these products. Click here for our Classic Four Cheese substitution guide. Give it a try!

Substitute

For an all-beef version, omit ground pork and use 1-1/2 lb. lean ground beef.

Special Extra

Prepare meatloaf as directed; cool, then slice. Wrap individual portions in foil. Label, date and place in freezer-weight resealable plastic bags. When ready to serve, unwrap and microwave until heated through (160°F).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderfully delicious and oh so FALL and Winter. Wonderfully delicious and oh so FALL and Winter. Lovely change on the usual dryish meatloaf. I made the gravy of cider and chili sauce. Not the hot style that used for various sauces. Made three loaves for a fun dinner and had not one complaint. Served with parslied new potatoes, string beans almondine and honeyed carrots. Changing to the whole beef version makes it Kosher. Will make this many times over.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I made this tonight and my husband and I LOVED it! I made this tonight and my husband and I LOVED it!!! I made a few substitutions: I used whole grain seasoned bread crumbs instead of the shake and bake and all turkey instead of pork and beef. The apple cider ketchup was great so I used it to glaze the meatloaf right from the beginning of the cooking time. This is a moist and delicious meatloaf that will now be included in our meal rotation!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I made this meatloaf last night and it was fabulous! I made this meatloaf last night and it was fabulous! I used all beef, added diced onion and an egg. I used cheddar jack & bacon breadcrumb mixture because the grocery store was out of the mixture the recipe called for. I also made extra sauce. I can't wait to make it again.
