How to Easily Remove Squares from Pan
Line empty pan with foil, with ends of foil extending over sides of pan. Bake dessert in prepared pan as directed. Cool, then use foil handles to remove dessert from pan before cutting into squares.
How to Select and Store Apples
Look for firm, well-colored apples. Skins should be smooth and free of bruises or gouges. Tan-colored spots, called scald, do not affect the flavor of the apple. Store in a cool dark place or in the refrigerator.
