Ratings & Reviews

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I made this recipe several for my family. I made this recipe several for my family. My husband and kids love it! I personally don't care for it as the ramen noodle taste is way to prominent. I try to play with it and add different veggies and stuff but not my favorite meal personally. But if you have a husband and kids it's pretty cheap to make and my picky eaters took well to it.

I used beef flavored ramen, but instead of adding chicken, I added sausages. I also subbed the carrots & green onions w/ onions & cilantro. I used about half of the seasoning packet & added Sriracha(hot sauce w/ rooster on bottle). What a great way of eating ramen!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I added 4 oz fresh mushrooms, a half package of frozen peas, and used baby carrots instead. I added 4 oz fresh mushrooms, a half package of frozen peas, and used baby carrots instead. It was quick, cheap, and delicious. The only thing I would change is to add the entire seasoning packet from the ramen noodles. Without it, the dish is pretty bland. Also used the oriental-flavored noodles.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I changed things up a bit, too. I changed things up a bit, too. I used 2 packages of ramen and 21/2 cups of water and cooked the noodles along with the carrots and some peas with 1 package of seasoning mix. Then I added the chicken and about 1/3 cup of Asian Toasted Seasame dressing. It was a hit!

I used 2 chicken and mushroom flavor packages and 1 oriential package. I used all 3 seasoning packets but just a little wasn't flavorful enough. It would have been better with real noodles.

I packed it for my husband's lunch and he called me while eating to say that it was good. Cut the chicken into smaller pieces and added the soup base packet at the end before mixing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from SOOO good. SOOO good. I used teriyaki sauce instead of the seasoning...very tasty. Next time I will try with the seasoning to compare. Also used fresh grilled chicken strips instead of the pre-prepared ones. Quick and easy and delicious...will definitely make this again!

This was good because it way so easy to make; I was able to whip it up in about 10 minutes. My kids thought it was great (but I'm not too excited about serving Ramen noodles for dinner very often!) When time is short, this is a viable choice!
