Ratings & Reviews

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fantastic! Fantastic! I've made this many times, and my boyfriend is completely addicted. As a note, we both love spicy food, but like other reviewers, I had to decrease the cayenne. I think it depends on how old your cayenne is, because that pepper loses spiciness/strength over time. Also, I prefer this recipe with cashews or peanuts, rather than mixed nuts. This is a keeper!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This recipe has it all! This recipe has it all! Quick, easy to make and tastes great! My husband loved it. I served it to friends and they kept going back for more. I will definitely make this again. It is hot and spicy, so for those who don't like hot foods, I would either make the variation or maybe use just one teaspoon of the cayenne pepper instead of two teaspoons.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I didn't have Catalina dressing so I substituted homemade French dressing. I didn't have Catalina dressing so I substituted homemade French dressing. We love spicy food but I thought 2t. cayenne was too much, so I cut it to just over 1t. and found I could have used more. This would be good using only cahsews or peanuts instead of mixed nuts. Very easy, fast and tasty. I will surely make it again!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from So fast, so easy, so yummy! So fast, so easy, so yummy!!! But next time I think I'll up the cayenne pepper to 1 T. for our family of spicy food lovers. I heated the mixture to pour over the nuts (30 seconds in micro) to make it easier to mix. Going to make enough to give each of my kids a tin to take home.

After making these nuts for a Christmas Bazaar, which sold out immediately, I have made them for family gatherings. Although they are good for several days, we like them best when we sneaked some warm off the cookie sheet.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent. Excellent. I made for Christmas and brought them to my fiance's family dinner. They were a hit. I also brought them to a New Year's party-- they were gone before the ball dropped! A great spicy treat.
