I really like Catalina dressing, and I enjoyed the different flavor it brought to the recipe.
I didn't have any red pepper or green onions, so I substituted some frozen pepper/onion mix and peas when I added the asparagus, and tossed in some southwest seasoning for a little "heat." The next time I make it, I'll use all the right ingredients.
I sliced the steak while it was still partially frozen, so instead of putting the dressing/soy sauce mixture into the wok first, I soaked the sliced steak in the mixture while I was waiting for my rice to cook.
