Asparagus is a favorite and we usually grill it. This was a pleasant change. However, used cilantro and added diced tomatoes to the sauce.

What You Need

lb.  fresh asparagus spears, trimmed
1
Tbsp.  water
1/3
cup  KRAFT Real Mayo Mayonnaise
1
Tbsp.  chopped fresh parsley
1
tsp.  GREY POUPON Dijon Mustard
1
tsp.  fresh lemon juice

Make It

PLACE asparagus in microwaveable casserole. Add water. Microwave on HIGH 3 to 5 min. or until asparagus is crisp-tender.

MEANWHILE, mix remaining ingredients.

DRAIN asparagus. Serve topped with mayo mixture.

Substitute
Substitute a microwaveable 10x6-inch dish for the casserole.
Trimming Fresh Asparagus
Asparagus spears snap off naturally where they are tough. Simply bend the spear near the bottom end and it will break off at the right point. Or, remove an inch or so of the "woody" portion off the bottom of the stalks with a sharp knife.
