"Baby-Cakes" Rattles recipe

What You Need

pkg.  (2-layer size) yellow cake mix
pkg.  (3.4 oz.) JELL-O Vanilla Flavor Instant Pudding
cup  cold milk
cups  thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping
 Few drops red or blue food coloring
 Suggested decorations: 54 JET-PUFFED Miniature Marshmallows, 24 jelly beans, 24 baby rattle candies, 1 Tbsp. miniature hard candies

Make It

PREPARE cake batter and bake as directed on package for 24 cupcakes. Cool in pans 10 min.; remove to wire racks. Cool completely.

BEAT pudding mix and milk in large bowl with whisk 2 min. Stir in COOL WHIP. Tint with food coloring until desired shade is reached; spread onto cupcakes.

ADD decorations to resemble photo, reserving 24 marshmallows to insert into lollipop sticks for the rattles.

Avoid using candy-coated chocolate pieces when decorating the cupcakes since the candy coating will bleed into the frosting.
How to Fill the Muffin Cups
Pour cake batter into large resealable bag; snip corner off one bottom corner of bag, then use to squeeze the batter into the paper-lined muffin cups. It's quicker and less messy than spooning the batter into each cup.

Tie ribbon around lollipop sticks.
