    I add a packet of ranch dressing mix for more flavor. This is a great dip to make one or two days ahead so that the flavors blend.

    This was great; everyone loved it! I made this 24 hrs in advance and would recommend that but if you can't do that long, then I think at least 5 hrs. It will be more flavorful the longer it sits and the bacon gets tender. If you let it sit, then there is not to much sour cream flavor, the other flavors will be enough.
