Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very good. Very good. Only difference I would make the next time is instead of layering everything, I would mix it all together except the tater tots. I'd still put them on top. It was like a bite of hamburger, a bite of cheese. I think it would be better all mixed together. But overall very yummy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I am always looking for recipes that are fast but taste great. I am always looking for recipes that are fast but taste great. Or something I can prepare and heat through later. I sometimes don't get off work until 6:00 I found this and thought I will try it, i can throw it together earlier in the day and heat through after work. IT'S SO GOOD. My husband who is VERY picky loved it! he had 2 servings and on top of that, he warmed it up the next day and he NEVER warms up food. It was so good and so easy. I spiced up my hamburger a little more with our favorite spices but you wouldn't even have to. Try it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from We really liked this, but it doesn't make very much, so next time I will double it. We really liked this, but it doesn't make very much, so next time I will double it. Here's are my tweaks, cut up the bacon before cooking then browned in a pan, drained most of the bacon grease, but left some and added the ground meat and onions to that. Added a little Worchester sauce to the ground meat when browning, mixed in some cheese to the meat mixture after baking, I added a little dill pickle relish since I love pickles on my burger :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I've made this recipe a few times now. I've made this recipe a few times now. I doubled the amount of sharp Cheddar and used maybe 5 cups of Tater Tots. I let it rest for about 5 mins and then drizzled a mixture of 1/2 cup home made mayo and 1/4 cup ketchup over the potatoes then topped it with 1 large tomato chopped, some shredded Romaine. It tastes like a bacon cheese burger with fries minus the bun. However it makes 4 realistic size portions not 8.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from We have had this many times. We have had this many times. Put the cheese under, we use tater bites, then bake. I put more cheese on the top when it comes out. This keeps the cheese from drying out.Try this and if the cheese doesn't melt enough, put back in oven covered in foil, just long enough to melt the cheese. Not to long, you don't want the tots to get mushy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I made this with a few changes. I made this with a few changes. I also browned the meat with garlic powder along with the onion and also some salt/pepper. I took another suggestion and mixed some of the bacon and cheese in with the beef before layering in the pan. It was a great dish and both my husband and I loved it. Definitely will make again.
