Ratings & Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I loved it. I loved it. So did my mom. I was 1st cautious about putting the mix of ingredients in mushrooms because I used mayo and it's never really good to heat mayo up but I loved it. Me and my mom are on strict diets and this was definitely a treat. and rather than using regular mayo I used light mayo, low sodium bacon bits and part skim cheese. It didnt take away from the taste. We enjoyed it. Thanks!!

I do not understand all the reviews for this recipe, I made it exactly as the recipe states and it was horrible, fishy tasting. My experience has been anytime crab is heated it gets very fishy, with the exception of crab cakes and then it is fine. There were 8 of us at the party and no one liked it. What a waste of $12.00 for real crab meat.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from i used large stuffing mushrooms instead of small ones and used this as a side dish. i used large stuffing mushrooms instead of small ones and used this as a side dish. i used real bacon crumbled. Husband loved them but wanted a little more cheese in them and possiblely a touch of whischester sauce or lemon juice. 2 large ones were enough for a side dish per person but they do dress up a boring meal of leftovers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have made these recipe a million times. I have made these recipe a million times. It is always a hit and now my in-laws request it at every Thanksgiving. They are easy and taste great. Best thing is everybody thinks you worked really really hard on them! I always add a little garlic, and make sure to make extras. They get gone before you can blink!

I make these almost every holiday, and it always surprises me how easy they are to put together. I always assemble them the night before and bake just before company arrives. Just to add a bit of substance and crunch, I sprinkle in some Italian bread crumbs to the mix and on top. These are always a hit!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from This recipe was low cal and super easy to make, even with my less than reliable oven. This recipe was low cal and super easy to make, even with my less than reliable oven. I thought they were pretty good, but I was expecting a little more taste-wise. My boyfriend loved them though, nearly devoured the whole pan. With that response I would definitely make these again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It was a sample at the supermarket. It was a sample at the supermarket. I was surprised I liked it considering it supposedly contained mayonnaise. I also would not have guessed imitation crab would have tasted good with mushrooms and cheese and would have passed on it if I had not tasted it first.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Made this for a party and was gone within 15 minutes with guest looking for more. Made this for a party and was gone within 15 minutes with guest looking for more. I only used enough mayo to bind crabmeat. Suggest using only 1/4 cup. Also suggest letting the crabmeat mixture sit in a sealed container overnight in frig. It is worth the wait.
