Bacon and Creamy Fettuccine

What You Need

pkg. (16 oz.) OSCAR MAYER Lower Sodium Bacon, cut into 1/2-inch pieces

oz. fresh mushrooms, sliced

green onions, sliced

oz. fettuccine, uncooked

pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Fat Free Cream Cheese, cubed

cup fat-free milk

1/2

tsp. garlic powder

1/2

tsp. dried basil leaves

1/2

tsp. dried thyme leaves

small tomato, chopped

Make It

COOK bacon until crisp; drain. Add mushrooms and onions; cook and stir 4 minutes. Set aside.

COOK fettuccine as directed on package in large saucepan; drain. Return fettuccine to saucepan. Add all remaining ingredients except tomato; cook on medium heat until cream cheese is melted, stirring occasionally.

TOSS bacon mixture with fettuccine; sprinkle with tomato.

Pretty good. I would recommend more 1/2 cup of milk and 1/2 chicken broth. It has a little more flavor.

We liked it! I agree with the other comments though-it's thick and needs at least 1 cup of milk instead of 2/3 cup. Also,I will make my bacon crispier next time and add more salt/garlic salt :)

I liked this recipe but I also believe it needed more milk, I used 3/4 cup and I added twice the garlic powder to give it more taste. Very easy and quick dinner.

I halfed the pasta, but made everything else as it called for and still had to add extra milk. It was very very dry. It had a good flavor, just needed more milk and maybe some butter.

We thought this was very good!! made some minor adjustments. cooked whole pieces of bacon (well done) and then broke into small pieces. Also added a half stick of butter to mixture and a tiny bit more milk. DId not come out to dry at all. Added some more milk when reheated.

This recipe was great. I used turkey bacon, but kept all else the same. My family loved it, even the kids!!! This would be great with different kinds of veggies added.
