Bacon Dog Mac & Cheese

A tasty variation on normal mac and cheese. I thought all the flavors went well together. Would make it again.

After seeing the recipe here we make this about once a month. Believe it or not adding the mustard and relish doesn't make it taste weird at all! And of course it has alot of sodium -- all packaged foods do. The amount of nutrition that is in any meal depends on what ingredients you put in it. Any ingredients can be omitted as long as you keep in the mac & dogs. Regardless, this is a great kid friendly meal that is cheap and easy to throw together. Cost per recipe - $1 typically.

I have made something very similar to this before. Mine only consisted of the mac-n-cheese and hot dogs. I like to call it "Poor Mans Dinner". I'm not sure about adding relish, but I have added salsa. It makes for a pretty good and quick dinner, when you're low on time and groceries.

Kids shouldn't have that much sodium in one meal. Unhealthy.

THIS WAS GREAT I MADE IT FOR MY FAMILY AND THEY LOVED IT.

Good kid's lunch a picky eater might like this .the only thing i would leave out are the mustard and pickle relish.

It's good, it's easy to make and it was gone in 10 minutes.

Very good for children. What child doesn't like hot dogs or mac and cheese.

This dish was easy to make. My children loved this dish. My kids are picky eaters this recipe did the trick the only thing I did different I used bacon bits instead of cooking bacon
