I used 1 can of buttermilk flaky biscuits, separated the layers and lined the bottom of a 11x13 dish. Once the biscuits cooked I put a layer of cheddar cheese on that. After I put the finished eggs (used 10 eggs, 4 tblsp butter, 6 oz cream cheese) on top of that I followed with another thin layer of cheese then bacon and then another thin layer of cheese. Pop it in the oven for cheese to melt. I used Already Cooked Bacon by Oscar Meyer to make it faster. This was sooo good, will make sum more!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I noticed that a lot of reviewers have said that the crust is too thick. I noticed that a lot of reviewers have said that the crust is too thick. But, I personally, love tasting lots of the biscuit so it is perfect for me. I have made this twice already. It is not a gourmet recipe, but I am not a gourmet cook. This uses simple ingredients that I usually have on hand, was very easy and fast to prepare, tasted delicious, and was quite filling. Serve it with a glass of milk and some fresh fruit and you have a nice meal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This was wonderful! This was wonderful! I used it for a family Easter brunch. Everyone asked for the recipe. I used 2 cans of crescents and put them in the bottom of a 9 by 13 cake pan for the crust and baked as the instructions said. I then doubled the ingredients and added a few spices to the egg mixture. After it was all put together I sprinkled lots of cheese on top and put in a warm oven to melt. This turned out awesome.

I was so impressed when the teenagers loved it and asked for seconds! I used the Pillsbury buttermilk biscuits and noted that I'll make the crust thinner the next time so I can put more of an egg mixture in the crust. This was so easy and quick to make. I served it with sliced fresh strawberries, oranges, and bananas.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My husband and I loved this! My husband and I loved this! Although I did put my own spin on it seeing it was plain. In egg mixture I added a little garlic, oregano, and sausage. Once the biscuits were done I sprinkled a little mozzarella cheese on top to melt, add eggs and bacon on top of biscuits, and then sprinkled with shredded cheddar and crumbled feta cheese. It was great. Next time I may drizzle sausage gravy over top!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very good recipe. Very good recipe. I modified slightly by making single servings. I used phyllo dough sheets, rollong & cutting into 4# squares. I pressed a single square into a greased muffin pan and baked per directions. After baking the dough, I had to press the center down to make room for the eggs. I made the eggs with cream cheese w/chive & onion. Really good! Family loved it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very easy and tasty! Very easy and tasty! I make a vegetarian version that is equally as yummy - as soon as the pan comes out of the oven, I add a layer (1 cup) of sharp cheddar cheese over the biscuits. Then, while creating the egg mixture, when adding the cream cheese, I also blend in peppers, onions and mushrooms. Everyone I've ever made this recipe for has also raved about it.

I read the other reviews and decided to put cheddar cheese and fried potatoes on my pie, but it was still flavorless. I would agree with the other readers to pour gravy on top as this was very dry with all the biscuit dough or maybe you could use croissant dough instead. Its a good idea that needs some tweaking to become a really good breakfast dish.
