    the recipe I tasted also used peeled and quartered cucumbers. This recipe was awesome. Perfect for out B-B-Que.

    i thought it was good, but my husband thought it was excellent

    I do not eat cherry tomatoes, so this was a little plain tasting for me. I thought the recipe called for too many bacon bits, I felt like I was eating more of them, then the pasta. Next time, I'm going to add some petite cut tomatoes and see if that helps out. But for someone who is watching their weight (me!), this is a good meal.
