  • Cook bacon in skillet 5 min. or until bacon is crisp, stirring occasionally. Drain skillet, leaving bacon in skillet. Stir in cherry tomatoes.
  • Add cream cheese spread, milk and Parmesan cheese; mix well. Cook until hot and bubbly, stirring frequently.
  • Stir in pasta.

Substitute

Prepare using PHILADELPHIA Light Cream Cheese Spread.

Variation

For a quick creamy tomato sauce, heat 1 undrained 14-1/2-oz. can stewed tomatoes with the remaining sauce ingredients.

I added fresh baby spinach as I sauteed the bacon for a some green, and I am glad that I did. 5 minutes was not enough time to crisp the bacon, but it all worked out in the end. My only complaint was that the cream cheese flavor bordered on overpowering - might be best to combine it with another cheese. Overall, was good and pretty easy, a great way to use up leftover uncooked bacon, and hubby liked it so I am sure I will make it again. I used grape tomatoes, but I might try unsalted, canned diced tomatoes next time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I make this recipe at LEAST twice a week! I make this recipe at LEAST twice a week! It is SO delicious and my 2 finicky kids love it too! I have added fresh basil to top it off and it is sooo good. I think I may try a garlic bread on the side sometime. This dish is really good as is, but if you like your bacon crispier then take it out of the pan and sprinkle on top before you serve/eat it...stays crispy and yummy and also stores better for leftovers the next day. I highly recommend this recipe. It's quick and easy and just gets better everytime I make it.

I used low fat milk, cream cheese and bacon with less fat and also low fat parm, and a cup of canned tomatoes instead of the whole ones. I also put extra milk in it to heat up the leftovers. I really liked it, but felt that it needed more bacon. I will put more in there next time. I will have to make it again, bc hubby LOVED it... as well as my kids!

I passed it onto my mom and dad who ONLY likes quick recipes and they loved it! I use an entire package of extra thick cut bacon and trim off a lot of the fat w/kitchen shears...either way it is good.

It was so good. I came on the website b/c I had lost the recipe and was hoping they would have it still. Thankfully it was still here. I think I will make it tonight!!!
