slices OSCAR MAYER Bacon

breadsticks (7 inch)

Tbsp. KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese

OSCAR MAYER Bacon Uses The Very Best Cuts And Is Naturally Hardwood Smoked

Make It

WRAP 1 slice bacon in spiral-fashion around each breadstick. Place on double-thick layer of paper towels on microwaveable plate.

MICROWAVE on HIGH 2 min.

ROLL immediately in Parmesan cheese until evenly coated.

True that it took long for the bacon to cook and didn't crisp up to wrap around the bread. Still tasted ok.

Definitely did not look like the picture. The bacon took forever to cook and made the breadsticks soft in the center and hard as rock at the ends.

They were good not great. People seemed to like them. Fast and easy to make.

This had no flavor and was very greasy. The breadsticks were absorbing all the grease. Yuck! The very first batch went in the trash.

I have made this several times and each time I make it they go like wild fire! I use seseame bread stiks and a thicker bacon but it all comes out the same. I had made these long time ago when microwaves first came out, for my dad, he is no longer with me, but I honor him with this recipe.

I HAVE MADE THESE FOR A LONG TIME. MAKE 10 TO 12 AT A TIME ON A MICROWAVE SAFE BACON FRIER THAT IS SLANTED. GREASE DRAINS AWAY. I COOK THEM ON POWER LEVEL 5 FOR FIVE MINUTES. TAKE THEM OUT AND ADJUST ANY CROOKED ONES THEN COOK THEM AGAIN FOR ANOTHER 4 OR 5 MINUTES. THERE A REAL FAVORITE FOR US.

Two minutes was nowhere near long enough to cook the bacon. By the time the bacon was cooked, the breadsticks were hard as rocks.

They burned badly after only 1 minute in the microwave. The temperature was too high! Tried various lower temperatures - but then the breadstick was very hard. Not all microwaves are the same.

The first time I made these, they were an absolute hit! And believe me the more you make, the faster they disappear...very yummy! These breadsticks are so easy and quick to make but just becareful and make sure the bacon doesn't burn. I have made these several times and can't wait to serve them during the holidays! :-)
