Bacon-Wrapped Potato Bites

I just couldn't get this recipe to work. The potatoes just wouldn't cook correctly and neither would the bacon. I used turkey bacon so that might have been the problem- I don't know. I did find the the smaller the potato wedges the better it tasted.

made it with turkey bacon, delicious. the only problem was that i followed the suggestion of another reviewer to put a piece of cheese inside each wrap. i put 1/4 piece of sliced cheese and it made a HUGE mess all over my pan. obviously, the cheese sounds like a good idea, but i do not believe this person actually made the recipe that way or they would have known what a mess it was and (hopefully) not suggested it to others!

This was so easy to make! I made them for a monthly get together and everyone loved them. Will definately be making these again!

My family and I on Christmas Eve make a bunch of appetizers instead of having dinner. Since we make so many we're always looking for easy recipes to throw in. This one was really good. We changed it a little bit by adding a dash of Tabasco sauce on each tater tot and adding a bit of cheese. We used 1/3 of a slice of bacon which more than covered the tater tot. They were absolutely delicious and were all gone quickly!

My husband is a picky eater and he just loved these. I guess it's true that bacon does make everything taste better.

These were delicious! 1/4 strip of bacon goes around once, nicely. I will try some of the other review's variations. Very good!

Can these be made ahead of time and put in the freezer?

I have made this recipe for years, with a twist. Cut slices of cheese into three's. Wrap one around each potato nugget, then wrap bacon around that. Broil. Delicious!!

Made this as an appy on Thanksgiving, everyone loved them, even the kids. I offered several dipping options - bbq sauce, ranch dressing and honey mustard.

My friend told me about this recipe. I made it for a Super Bowl party. It was the hit of the party! This is such an easy recipe, my only caution is to make sure you use a cookie sheet with sides. It gets very greasy when cooking.
