I didn't have any cheese squares, so I used shredded instead, and then I thought this might be sort of bland, so I sprinkled some garlic powder over the cheese and added just a teensy bit of oregano. I put the second cracker on and topped that with some grated parmesan cheese. It wasn't as neat as it might have been with the squares, but it was simpler and still turned out fine. These were delicious and I will definitely be making them again. They tasted very much like the real thing!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Why do these have more calories and fat than the "Stick with Mozzerella Bites" here on your site? Why do these have more calories and fat than the "Stick with Mozzerella Bites" here on your site? Those have 2% string cheese and regular Ritz, and these have part skim Mozzerella, and Reduced fat Ritz. I'm confused. It's not by much, but still. Please let me know so that I can be sure to trust that your nutrition information is accurate. <<< Response from Kraft Kitchens Expert, Maggie ~ The nutrition analysis is correct on both recipes. Stick with Mozzarella Snacks uses 2 Tbsp. marinara per serving but divides 1 cheese stick (1 oz.) over 3 servings. While the Baked Mozzarella Bites uses just over 1 Tbsp. marinara per serving, there is just over 1/2 oz. cheese per serving. The difference in calories (10) and fat (0.5g) is primarily due to the slightly greater amount of cheese per serving in Baked Mozzarella Bites. >>>

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE THIS! LOVE THIS!! It was so simple, yet so good! My husband has to watch what he eats, and really misses mozerella sticks. This is a great and healthy alternative! I used the whole grain Ritz, and used spaghetti sauce to dip it. Everyone loved them, and couldn't beleive how something so simple could be so good! It would even be good with deli turkey or pepperoni!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I made these for some guests and everyone loved them. I made these for some guests and everyone loved them. They were extremely easy to make. You must serve them while they are hot because once they cool they are not as good. I will make them again and my guest are looking forward to making them as well. I used the reduced fat crackers and no one could tell the difference.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great, fast , recipe! Great, fast , recipe! They were good baked and with pizza or spaghetti sauce. My kids loved them. One time, I didn't have time to heat up the oven so I microwaved 6 at a time on a microwave safe plate for 15 - 20 seconds and they came out just fine, and the crackers stayed crispy. We make these a lot now.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Wish I had read all the comments before making. Wish I had read all the comments before making. Made a huge batch to keep for snacking, but as others have said, once cooled, they became soggy. Not so good once that happens. I'll make it again because I did like it, but I'll make it in smaller batches so I can finish it before they get soggy.

The cheese got so hard you couldn't bite them. The crackers were ok, nice & warm, but the chesse wasn't . If I were to make these again, they would have to be ate immediatley.

Very quick and simple to make, but I expected the crackers to get crispy - they got more "mushy" because of the cheese. Also, without the dipping sauce, they're rather bland. Still a good, quick snack though. And definitely better for you than frying up some actually cheese sticks.
