  • Heat oven to 400ºF.
  • Spray bottom and sides of 13x9-inch baking dish with cooking spray. Combine all remaining ingredients except egg. Add egg; mix lightly. Press onto bottom of baking dish.
  • Bake 45 to 50 min. or until golden brown.
  • Let stand 10 min. before cutting to serve.

Make Ahead

Potato mixture can be baked ahead of time. Cool, then refrigerate up to 24 hours. When ready to serve, bake, uncovered, in 350ºF oven 15 to 20 min. or until heated through.

    After reading everyone's reviews, I made some adjustments and give this recipe 5 stars. I used 2 packages of hash browns that were 24 oz each. I added another egg and a can of Campbells Cheddar Cheese Soup. Baked accordingly and broiled at the end for a few minutes to crisp the top. Everyone loved it! Will make again and again!
