What You Need

pkg. (16 oz.) ziti pasta

jar (26 oz.) spaghetti sauce

container (15 oz.) POLLY-O Original Ricotta Cheese

pkg. (8 oz.) POLLY-O Shredded Mozzarella Cheese, divided

cup KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese

Make It

PREHEAT oven to 350°F. Cook pasta as directed on package. Drain pasta, reserving 1/2 cup of the pasta cooking water.

MIX spaghetti sauce, ricotta cheese and reserved 1/2 cup pasta cooking water in large bowl. Add pasta and 1/2 cup of the mozzarella cheese; mix lightly. Spoon into 13x9-inch baking dish sprayed with cooking spray; sprinkle with remaining mozzarella cheese and the Parmesan cheese. Cover.

BAKE 30 min.; uncover. Bake an additional 10 min. or until heated through.

This recipe was delicious and so easy to make. I did add some Italian seasoning and garlic to the meat.

Once I made the recipe, I understood why so many people said it was dry. I think the Ricotta cheese overpowered everything. I think the next time I make it, I will cut the Ricotta cheese in half. Not sure if it will still need more sauce. I did add some more Mozzarella & Parmesan though!

I made this for a bridal shower and it was a huge hit! I added a bit more sauce soit didn't dry out and extra cheese. All my guests raved about it. I will definatly make this again and again!!!

It was way too dry. The taste was good, but it was too dry and something was missing. I tried the creamy baked ziti recipe on this website and it was out of this world! Try that recipe before trying this one.

I used wheat noodles intead of regular noodles and they didn't make for good ziti. I will make the recipe again, but use regular noodles next time. Other than the noodles it was very easy to make and tasted good!

This is a pretty basic baked pasta recipe. I added cooked Italian turkey sausage. Also, this seemed way to dry after mixing the pasta with the sauce and ricotta mixture so I added another extra half jar of sauce. You can use this basic recipe and add whatever kind of meat or veggies to it and it would be good. You really do need more sauce then just one jar though.
