What You Need

pkg. (4 oz.) BAKER'S Unsweetened Chocolate

3/4

cup (1-1/2 sticks) butter or margarine

cups sugar

eggs

tsp. vanilla

cup flour

cup coarsely chopped PLANTERS Pecans (optional)

jar (7 oz.) JET-PUFFED Marshmallow Creme

square BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate, melted

Make It

LINE 13x9-inch baking pan with foil, with ends of foil extending over sides of pan to form handles. Grease foil.

MICROWAVE unsweetened chocolate and butter in large microwavable bowl on HIGH 2 minutes or until butter is melted. Stir until chocolate is completely melted. Add sugar; mix well. Stir in eggs and vanilla. Add flour and nuts; mix well. Spread into prepared pan.

BAKE at 350°F for 30 to 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out with fudgy crumbs. (Do not overbake.) Immediately drop marshmallow creme by spoonfuls over hot brownies; spread evenly over top of brownies. Cool in pan. Lift out of pan onto cutting board using foil handles. Remove foil. Place on serving tray. Drizzle melted chocolate over marshmallow creme to create a spider web design. Cut into 32 brownies just before serving.

How To Easily Drizzle Melted Chocolate

Place chocolate in small microwavable bowl. Microwave on HIGH 1 to 1-1/2 minutes or until chocolate is almost melted, stirring every 30 seconds. (Chocolate will hold it's shape.) Stir until chocolate is completely melted. Spoon into small plastic bag. Roll up bag to push chocolate into corner. Using scissors, cut off tiny piece of corner, about 1/8-inch wide. Twist top of bag and gently squeeze to drizzle chocolate back and forth over dessert.

OREO® Spider Web Brownies

Prepare as directed, substituting 16 coarsely chopped Halloween OREO Cookies for the pecans.

I don't normally take the time to review recipes but this one is definitely deserving of five stars and I'm currently making them for the third time! These brownies are so rich and delicious. Obviously, it's not Halloween so I'm leaving off the topping but this an amazing brownie recipe to make any time of year! Just don't bother trying to line the pan with tin foil. I did that the first time and it turned out to be a complete mess so that's when I ended up having to make a second batch (it was for our work Halloween party). But at least the first messy batch could be kept at home for us. :)

Recipe was great, easy to follow BUT a bit too sweet for me. I have an extremely sweet tooth, but with the creme and all it was a bit too much. But I enjoyed it regardless, and would definitely make it on Halloween since the appearance of it looks very characteristic!

I made these with the Oreo cookies in them, and they were a HUGE hit! I brought them to work and they were gone in no time!

Warmed marshmallow creme in microwave for easier spreading and added crushed oreos to the top instead of spiderweb and everyone RAVED about how good they were. I usually use a box brownie recipe to cut down on cook time.

I made this for a halloween party I had... everyone loved the brownies.. im definitely making them again next year

Superb! I'll admit I did use a box of the pre-made brownie stuff cause my boyfriend LOVES turtle brownies, but either way, it was completely delicious! I've been told that I must remake this again every week apparently! I think these will definately be on the table for Christmas, but I'll put something else other than the spiderweb :)

Easy to make and making the spiderweb was fun! The marshmallow topping is, however, quite sticky and therefore when you go to slice it up it gets pretty messy. Will definitely make again, but may consider using a less sticky topping.

These are very tasty! I left out the nuts and made it in two round cake pans instead of one 13x9 pan. Now my fiance can take one to work and we can have one to enjoy ourselves!
