  • Line 13x9-inch baking pan with foil, with ends of foil extending over sides of pan to form handles. Grease foil.
  • Microwave unsweetened chocolate and butter in large microwavable bowl on HIGH 2 minutes or until butter is melted. Stir until chocolate is completely melted. Add sugar; mix well. Stir in eggs and vanilla. Add flour and nuts; mix well. Spread into prepared pan.
  • Bake at 350°F for 30 to 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out with fudgy crumbs. (Do not overbake.) Immediately drop marshmallow creme by spoonfuls over hot brownies; spread evenly over top of brownies. Cool in pan. Lift out of pan onto cutting board using foil handles. Remove foil. Place on serving tray. Drizzle melted chocolate over marshmallow creme to create a spider web design. Cut into 32 brownies just before serving.

Size-Wise

Looking for a special treat? One brownie is all that is needed to provide a lot of chocolate flavor.

How To Easily Drizzle Melted Chocolate

Place chocolate in small microwavable bowl. Microwave on HIGH 1 to 1-1/2 minutes or until chocolate is almost melted, stirring every 30 seconds. (Chocolate will hold it's shape.) Stir until chocolate is completely melted. Spoon into small plastic bag. Roll up bag to push chocolate into corner. Using scissors, cut off tiny piece of corner, about 1/8-inch wide. Twist top of bag and gently squeeze to drizzle chocolate back and forth over dessert.

OREO® Spider Web Brownies

Prepare as directed, substituting 16 coarsely chopped Halloween OREO Cookies for the pecans.

I don't normally take the time to review recipes but this one is definitely deserving of five stars and I'm currently making them for the third time! These brownies are so rich and delicious. Obviously, it's not Halloween so I'm leaving off the topping but this an amazing brownie recipe to make any time of year! Just don't bother trying to line the pan with tin foil. I did that the first time and it turned out to be a complete mess so that's when I ended up having to make a second batch (it was for our work Halloween party). But at least the first messy batch could be kept at home for us. :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely one of the best, richest brownies I've ever had! Absolutely one of the best, richest brownies I've ever had! Recipe calls for immediate spread of Marshmellow creme, out of jar...however, that did not work for me...had to heat it up in microwave (careful - it heats quickly!) so that it could spread more easily, otherwise it was going to mess up the top of brownies. But what a great combination - and much easier to make than I thought!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Superb! Superb! I'll admit I did use a box of the pre-made brownie stuff cause my boyfriend LOVES turtle brownies, but either way, it was completely delicious! I've been told that I must remake this again every week apparently! I think these will definately be on the table for Christmas, but I'll put something else other than the spiderweb :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy and delicious! Easy and delicious! I loved the marshmello creme with the brownies, it's the first recipe I saw using it on brownies, kids especially like it. It's easy to make the spider web by making increasingly larger circles around the center dot then pulling a knife from the center out through the largest circle all around to make the web.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This was a hit at my sons halloween football party. This was a hit at my sons halloween football party. WOW chocolate peacans and marshmellows what could be better? (peanut butter?) Yep I added peanut butter chips to the batter and it was incredible. I made a batch both ways and the peanut butter chips were gone first. Thanks Kraft!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from They looked beautiful, but they didn't taste too good. They looked beautiful, but they didn't taste too good. Mine didn't come out the right color. Instead of being a rich, dark brown, it was a light, caramel color. It was too sweet and the marshmallow cream was so messy to eat. I like Kraft's classic brownie recipies a lot better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I used dark chocolate chips instead of the unsweetened and they were to die for. I used dark chocolate chips instead of the unsweetened and they were to die for. Every one loved them. (especially my husband). I actually took them out of the pan and then cut the edges off to make it more attractive and then added the spider web on top. They were great.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Recipe was great, easy to follow BUT a bit too sweet for me. Recipe was great, easy to follow BUT a bit too sweet for me. I have an extremely sweet tooth, but with the creme and all it was a bit too much. But I enjoyed it regardless, and would definitely make it on Halloween since the appearance of it looks very characteristic!
