Balsamic-Maple Glazed Ham

What You Need

1/4

cup KRAFT Balsamic Vinaigrette Dressing

1/4

cup maple-flavored or pancake syrup

Tbsp. GREY POUPON Dijon Mustard

bone-in skinless smoked ham, shank or butt end portion (7 lb.)

lb. parsnips, trimmed, peeled and cut into 1/2-inch-wide spears

1-1/2

lb. baby carrots

Tbsp. olive oil

It's for dipping and dunking and mixing-upping. And yes, for salad too.

Make It

HEAT oven to 325ºF.

MIX dressing, syrup and mustard. Place ham, fat-side up, in roasting pan. Diagonally score ham; cover with foil. Bake 1 hour.

REMOVE foil. Brush ham with 1/3 of the glaze. Bake, uncovered, 1 hour or until heated through (140ºF), brushing with remaining glaze every 20 min. Meanwhile, toss parsnips and carrots with oil in large shallow pan. Add to oven with ham the last 45 min. of the ham baking time, turning vegetables every time ham is brushed with glaze.

REMOVE ham from oven; transfer to cutting board. Tent with foil; let stand 15 min. Meanwhile, increase oven temperature to 425ºF. Continue to roast vegetables 15 min., turning every 5 min. Serve with ham.

How to Score a Ham

Using a sharp knife, make 1/4-inch-deep parallel cuts, about 1 inch apart, in top surface of ham. Make additional scores at right angles to form diamond shapes.

I have not made this but, however, I have made the maple balasmic salmon which is delicious. So, I can only imagine how wonderful this tastes. I am going to give it a whorl!

Excellent! Made this today and turned out perfect, followed the recipe exactly and it was super easy. Will definately be making this again.

this is the best tasting Ham I have ever nade. it was so simple to do. My grandkids loved it. It is so moist and delicious...will make it again, for sure.

This is an easy recipe and it tastes great. I had never eaten parsnips before this...they were great too.

Very, very delicious. Made this for Christmas and my family loved it. The only thing I did differently was that I included small round potatoes and baby carrots with the ham when I first started cooking it and left it cooking with the ham all the way through even after pouring the glaze.

Great flavor. I used a spiral sliced ham and would suggest using a different one-not sliced.

Made it for Easter dinner and it was wonderful!!! My husband and 2 daughters(3yrs and 20 mo) all loved it. Will definately use it again in the future!
