Banana Bran Bread

Mashed ripe bananas and bran cereal are baked into this easy quick loaf. Serve slices for breakfast or a snack.

what you need

cups  flour
1/2
cup  sugar
2
tsp.  CALUMET Baking Powder
1/2
tsp.  baking soda
1/4
tsp.  salt
1
 egg
1-1/2
cups  mashed ripe bananas (2 to 3 bananas)
1-1/2
cups  wheat bran high-fiber cereal
1/4
cup  water
2
Tbsp.  oil
1
tsp.  vanilla

Make It

MIX flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt in large bowl. Beat egg in medium bowl; stir in bananas, cereal, water, oil and vanilla. Add to flour mixture; stir just until moistened. (Batter will be lumpy.)

POUR batter into 9x5-inch loaf pan sprayed with cooking spray.

BAKE at 350°F for 55 to 1 hour 5 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes; remove from pan. Cool completely on wire rack.
