  • Stir milk and pudding mix in medium bowl with large spoon just until pudding mix is moistened. Immediately add bananas and cake crumbs; mix well.
  • Shape into 36 (1-inch) balls; place on waxed paper-covered rimmed baking sheet. Freeze 1 hour.
  • Microwave chocolate in medium microwaveable bowl on HIGH 1-1/2 min. or until melted, stirring after 1 min. Dip balls in chocolate; return to baking sheet. Top immediately with sprinkles. Let stand until coating is firm.

How to Portion Cake Balls

Use cookie scoop to portion the crumb mixture for each ball, then roll it between the palms of your hands to form smooth round balls.

How to Easily Coat the Cake Balls

Remove inner tines of disposable fork; set aside. Add cake balls, in batches, to bowl of melted chocolate. Use spoon or rubber scraper to evenly coat balls with chocolate. Remove balls with prepared fork.

    These Banana Balls are amazing!!! I've made them severl times and they are such a hit. Sometimes I use cheesecake instant jello instead. They taste even better.

    I am also not sure why peope hated this recipe so much. They ae wicked easy to make. I have alrady made them 3 times after seeing the recipe in a magazine. They have been a big hit with the family and coworkers. I modified the recipe by making the cakes balls bigger, I only made 20 instead of 36. I also used 2 bars of dark chocolate and 1 bar of milk chocolate together. Yeah they are a bit mushy inside but it balances well with the crunch of the chocolate on the outside. I would recommend storing them in the fridge it keeps the inside and chocolate a bit firmer an enhances the flavor. If you like banana I would recommend trying this recipe for yourself.

    Agree with other reviewers re: banana taste strong and mushy inside; however, I substituted semi-sweet mini chocolate chips and liked the taste. Now if only the recipe told me how to store these after the chocolate hardened.
