We decided that the fruit (we used nectarines) would cook too fast for the chicken, so we cubed the chicken & cooked it in a grill basket for a bit, let it cooled and then put it on the skewers. We used a thick bacon, which took a long time to get to a point we'd eat it. Next time, we will cut the bacon into squares and put it between the fruit & meat. We also seasoned the chicken with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Yum.
