  • Place meat, fat-side up, on rack in pan; top with garlic and onion.
  • Bake 1 hour. Pour barbecue sauce over meat; cover.
  • Reduce oven temperature to 300°F. Bake 2 hours or until meat is tender and done (160°F). Skim fat from liquid in pan; discard. Serve liquid with meat.

    Good recipe. Easy to make. We liked it but the cut of meat is a little hard to find without if being corned. But if you find the non corned beef brisket it's a good dish

    This is a great recipe. It is so simple with only a few ingredients. But, I like to shredd and the chop the finished brisket. Then I serve it on hamburger buns. My kids love it!
