Barbecued Chicken Caesar Salad

  • Pour 1/4 cup dressing over chicken in shallow dish; turn to coat both sides of each breast. Refrigerate 30 min. to marinate. Remove chicken from marinade; discard marinade.
  • Heat grill to medium heat. Grill chicken 5 to 7 min. on each side or until done (165°F). Cut into thin slices.
  • Toss lettuce with chicken and all remaining ingredients.

Substitute

This salad is just as delicious made with KRAFT Classic Ranch Dressing.

Substitute 4 slices OSCAR MAYER Center Cut Bacon, cooked and crumbled, for the OSCAR MAYER Real Bacon Bits.

But then I served the lettuce, bacon bits and parmesan in separate bowls so everybody could make their own salad with what they wanted on it. I also added bowls of diced tomatoes and sliced red onions.

I didn't barbecue the chicken breast because i don't have a grill so i just put it on a pan for about 20min on low-medium heat and it was really good.

To cut down the fat and calories I used Kraft's Italian Caesar Dressing instead of just Caesar. That saves about 18 grams of fat! Plus instead of bacon bits I used cherry tomatoes. It was very good, my husband loved it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I love caesar salads and this is an excellant one! I love caesar salads and this is an excellant one! I have also marinated the chicken in zesty italian dressing (in lieu of caesar) before grilling it. It adds a little zing to the flavor!
