  • Spread cut sides of rolls with remaining 1/4 cup barbecue sauce.
  • Place lettuce, mushrooms and tomatoes on bottom halves of rolls; cover with tops of rolls.

To cook mushrooms under the broiler instead of on the grill, place mushrooms on rack of broiler pan. Broil, 4 to 6 min. on each side or until tender, brushing occasionally with 1/4 cup of the barbecue sauce.

    I marinated the mushrooms in extra virgin olive oil for about 30 minutes first to make them taste more like steak burgers. They are juicy so bring lots of napkins, and oh, so good! We are happy vegetarians!!!
