  • Mix barbecue sauce, orange zest and juice in resealable plastic bag or glass baking dish. Add chicken; turn to coat. Seal bag or cover dish; refrigerate at least 30 min. to marinate.
  • Preheat oven to 400°F. Remove chicken from marinade; discard marinade. Place chicken, skin side up, on rack in foil-lined roasting pan.
  • Bake 40 to 50 min. or until chicken is cooked through.


Prepare as directed, substituting 2 large Cornish game hens, split, for the quartered broiler-fryer chicken.


Prepare as directed, using KRAFT Original Barbecue Sauce.

Special Extra

Garnish with orange slices just before serving.

    Just a suggestion: Why not try the marinade recipe with chicken breast or strips in a crock-pot? Wouldn't it absorb more of the flavors in??? If anyone is game to try it, please post and let me know!

    I can only say that it was ok. Could taste the orange only slightly and BBQ not at all. Sat in the marinade, in the fridge for atleast 5 hrs before it was baked! Very disappointed!
