  • Cook and stir bacon and onions in medium saucepan on medium heat until bacon is crisp and onions are crisp-tender; drain.
  • Add barbecue sauce, water and sugar; mix well.
  • Stir in beans; cover. Cook on medium heat 8 to 10 min. or until beans are tender.


Substitute your favorite frozen vegetables for the green beans.

Special Extra

Garnish with parsley or thinly sliced green pepper rings.


Substitute 1 Tbsp. honey or pineapple preserves for the brown sugar.
