Well, I'm not sure what the first person did to rate this a 1 but I just left the table and my family was asking for more. This was grat. I did make a couple changes as we didn't have BBQ sauce so I subbed a can of Sloppy Joe sauce and green peppers for red. I added a can of mexi-corn and my son (unbeknownst to me) added more cheese. I garnished this with sour cream and some pepper rings. It did take a little longer than the recipe called for. With the changes, I think as very tasty and would haven fine as originally directed. The cornbread on top was crunchy and the sauce was just enough without being too overpowering. Will def make again and again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I made this fantastic pie for my granddaughter and me. I made this fantastic pie for my granddaughter and me. It was so good and very easy to make. I added a can of drained corn and a can of sliced olives and 2 finely chopped garlic. I placed it in my 7x11 pan and baked it for 20 minutes. It was golden brown and smelled so good. When I took it out of the oven I realized I had forgotten to add the cheese. So I put the cheese on the top of the corn bread and put it back in the oven with heat off and by the time I had our salad ready the cheese had melted and was yummy for the tummy. I can't wait to make it again using different sauces in the hamburger. sweetrose46

My husband usually is very skeptical of anything new that I cook. I asked him if he liked it and he said. "I had a second serving, doesn't that tell you I liked it."

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I loved this recipe! I loved this recipe! Super simple to make and reminded me of a sloppy joe! I threw in a chopped jalapeno as well for added zip and flavor. The cornbread tastes so delicious with the beef mixture underneath it!
