A little Parmesan goes a long way! This flavorful cheese is a great finishing touch for pasta dishes, risotto, meat and vegetable dishes and your favorite salads.

Keeping it Safe

Place frozen chicken under cold running water to thaw. Be sure to use cold water and keep the chicken in its original wrap or place in water-tight resealable plastic bag while thawing it. This is a great recipe, but I am a lover of extremely rich & flavorful foods-(and high calorie ones! hehe). To add a little more WOW, when you bring it to the table try pre-seasoning the strips. Toss them in some of the barbeque sauce and wrap in bacon (the sauce acts as a glue for the bacon) , brown the bacon in a skillet on med-high heat and after they are gloden brown, single layer them in a shallow baking pan, and spread a little more sauce on each one. Finish cooking them in the oven and for the very last five minutes sprinkle as much cheese as you desire over the top. Soon your are in for a flavorful treat that MY family loved, and has become a monthly favorite! Yummy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My husband is a very, very picky eater. My husband is a very, very picky eater. He hates onions, sour cream, tomatos, potatos, etc., etc...everything I love and it makes it very difficult to cook for him. Plus I don't eat meat aside from chicken so that really limits my options. However, we both absolutely love this chicken! My husband actually requested I make it two days in a row and I had no objections to that. So simple and so flavorful. This dish will be made several times for years to come.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Thank you for this delicious sounding recipe. Thank you for this delicious sounding recipe. I plan to try it tomorrow for lunch. We like barbecuechickenfingers/spinach and for sure we like sugar free sauces. It is a winner for good health. High fructose corn syrup is Not found in our kitchen. I stand by that always. It requires lots of reading on bottles and cans but healthwise it is worth the trouble.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is our new favorite chicken recipe. This is our new favorite chicken recipe. It has a nice kick, even without barbeque sauce, and it's very juicy. It's super easy to make, and cleanup is a snap if you line the baking sheet with aluminum foil. We eat the chicken as grown-up chicken nuggets and we've put the strips on a bun. We have not yet tried as a salad, but I bet it would be wonderful.

One easy way to avoid dry chicken is to not just follow the recipe times but to check it yourself after 5-7 minutes. Every oven is very different, so experiment with yours and your chicken will come out moist and so tender. Once the meat is no longer pink then it is done. Happy Cooking!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not only did my husband give this 2 thumbs up, but my extremely picky daughter loved it as well. Not only did my husband give this 2 thumbs up, but my extremely picky daughter loved it as well. Very easy and fast and tasted great. I shook my parm. cheese, spices and chicken in a ziplock to coat instead of a bowl for less mess. Great! Can't wait to make again!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVED this! LOVED this! The chicken turned out juicy and perfect; it was full of flavor and just a little spicy. I'm thinking about trying some different sauces, like maybe dijon mustard or an Oriental sauce next time. This was EASY, QUICK AND DELICIOUS.
