Prepare as directed, substituting 1-1/2 lb. boneless skinless chicken breasts for the sirloin steak.
To broil kabobs instead of grilling them, assemble kabobs as directed; place on rack of broiler pan. Broil, 5 to 7 inches from heat, 10 to 15 min. for medium doneness (160°F), turning and brushing occasionally with the barbecue sauce.
Omit steak. Substitute pineapple chunks for the mushrooms and zucchini. Arrange 1-1/2 lb. cleaned large shrimp on skewers alternately with onion wedges, green peppers strips and pineapple chunks. Grill over medium-high heat 5 to 10 min. or until shrimp turn pink, turning and brushing occasionally with the barbecue sauce.
Skewer this combination of meat and vegetables for a delicious, yet low-fat and low-sodium, main dish. As a bonus, the red and yellow peppers are a good source of vitamin C.
