Ready for a new kind of kabob? Try this one, made with turkey smoked sausage, mushrooms and tangy BBQ sauce.

What You Need

pkg.  (14 oz.) smoked turkey sausage, cut into 1-inch pieces
1/2
lb.  mushrooms, cut into 1-inch pieces
1
 each small green and yellow pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces
1
small  red onion, cut into 6 wedges
1/4
cup  KRAFT Original Barbecue Sauce

Make It

HEAT grill to medium heat.

THREAD sausage pieces and vegetables alternately onto skewers.

GRILL 18 min. or until sausage is heated through and vegetables are crisp-tender, turning frequently and brushing with sauce for the last 2 min.

Substitute
Substitute KRAFT Sweet 'N Sour Sauce or KRAFT Italian Dressing for the barbecue sauce.
Use Your Broiler
Assemble kabobs as directed; place on rack of broiler pan. Broil, 6 inches from heat, 18 min. or until sausage is heated through and vegetables are crisp-tender, turning frequently and brushing with sauce for the last 2 min.
Special Extra
Prepare a tray of sausage pieces, assorted cut-up vegetables and sauces, adding any other favorite kabob ingredients, such as pineapple chunks and cherry tomatoes. Then, set out ingredients and let your family or guests assemble their own kabobs.
