Ratings & Reviews

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love this recipe. Love this recipe. We make it quite often, and never the same way twice. We like it more on the tex-mex side. Usually I will make taco meat and use a small amount of enchilada sauce for creaminess. I have added bell peppers, jalapeños, cream cheese, and many other different variations. I have used crescent rolls for the crust, but prefer the listed recipe prep.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Loved it! Loved it! for as easy as it was to make I had no complaints. I added a crushed clove og garlic to the meat and onion as it cooked. I also added 2T BBQ sauce in addition to the ketchup and steak sauce. My husband ate it with Ranch dressing and did not complain. If calories are not a concern you could add some shredded cheese to the dough as you mix it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This recipe is great and so easy! This recipe is great and so easy! My fiance and I LOVED it! I made it easier by using a premade pie crust. We also added mushrooms, black beans, peppers, and diced tomatoes. I even used a little taco seasoning on the beef while it was cooking. The A1 sauce is a great touch! Kraft recipes make my life so much easier!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I made this but changed it up b/c I hate the sweetness of A-1. I made this but changed it up b/c I hate the sweetness of A-1. It was ok. Also made it using pre-made pie crust, a can of chili, frozen hash brown potatoes and topped it with cheddar cheese...and it turned out very good. I like the concept and will use the 'foldover' idea for many other fillings.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This was really good. This was really good. I made it with crescent rolls flattened out and added some additional cheese to use it up. The corn gave it a sweet flavor and the A-1 the spice. I made it in a pie plate and cut it into 4 pieces. I don't think it would serve 6 - would recommend and will make again.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Did not like the crust at all. Did not like the crust at all. I'll maybe try it with a pie crust texture next time. I also made more sauce, adding barbeque sauce to get a better flavor and garlic powder, salt and pepper to the meat during cooking. That part was good. I'll maybe try again with these tweaks.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I also thought the picture looked great. I also thought the picture looked great. Followed the recipe except I added some cheese to the meat mixture. Much too bland for our taste. If I were to make this again, I'd also add some spices, bar-be-que sauce or salsa to take it up a notch. Definitely needs something more!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My husband and I really liked this. My husband and I really liked this. It was so easy to make. The only thing I did differently was ground turkey and I added some spicy bbq sauce, ground black pepper, chicken and a little extra A1 sauce because I thought the meat mixture wasn't saucy enough. Will make again!
