Rated 5 out of 5 by from This was a lovely dish! This was a lovely dish! I loved it, and so did my friends and family! must disagree with that amn John, I would use a New York steak. I would also recomment adding more vegetables, and some honey in the marinade, its absolutely delicious!!! I have to say that this has been my favourite recipe from kraftfoods.com. Plus, all my friends and family tink that I'm a superb chef now!!! Thank you soo much!!!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I let the meat marinade all day. I let the meat marinade all day. I even added a little brown sugar and chili powder to the marinade. The meat was very tough and I was very careful not to over cook it. I was looking for a recipe to use up some of my frozen veggies and this was not a good choice. My husband said it smelled good but that is about all he said. My son wouldn't touch it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I took the suggestion of another cook while reviewing the comments before making this dish. I took the suggestion of another cook while reviewing the comments before making this dish. I added honey and brown sugar to the marinade and it was great. Meat was tough though but I guess that is the nature of round steak. I don't have much experience with round steak. Easy and tasty dish. Meat was too tough for my small son.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This recipe is excellent when you have leftover pot roast. This recipe is excellent when you have leftover pot roast. however I did not use the bamboo shoots nor the mushrooms, i used carrots and bean sprouts, green pepper and water chestnuts. of course you can use whatever veggies you like. I also spiced it up a little by adding some red pepper.

There were a few suggestions to add honey or brown sugar but I decided to make this recipie as is...I should have followed some of the suggestions it may have been better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really good! Really good! I used brown sugar, honey and garlic out of a jar and also a dash of powdered ginger. I also steamed fresh broccoli and zuchhini instead of frozen veggies. Maybe needed a little more sauce but other than that it was good.
