What You Need

pkg. (12 oz.) VELVEETA Shells & Cheese Dinner Made With 2% Milk Cheese

lb. extra-lean ground beef

1/2

cup KRAFT Lite Zesty Italian Dressing

pkg. (16 oz.) frozen vegetable blend (red peppers, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower), thawed

tsp. dried basil leaves

1/2

cup KRAFT 2% Milk Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese

Make It

PREPARE Dinner as directed on package.

MEANWHILE, brown meat with dressing in large skillet on medium heat. Stir in vegetables and basil; cook 5 min. or until heated through, stirring occasionally.

STIR in Dinner; top with cheddar. Cover; cook 5 min. or until cheddar is melted.

I made this for dinner today but I substituded ground beef for ground turkey and I added onion and garlic and I used fresh vegetables. Turned out delicious!!!

This was pretty good, especially for a hamburger dish. I used more cheese than the recipe called for.

My husband liked it but didn't like the sweet taste that the Zesty Italian Dressing gave the dish. Next time, I will try to find something else to replace that ingredient.

Initially, I thought this recipe sounded good but was quickly disappointed after my first bite. I was even embarrassed to have my husband take his first bite due to my feelings. It's the wrong mix of too many flavors and forget about leftovers tasting any better.

This turned out really well. I didn't use Velveeta shells & cheese dinner...I cooked my own noodles and melted some Velveeta & milk in a sauce pan. I also didn't use the basil. I liked the flavors of this...it was different from other recipes.

I wasn't a huge fan of the entire set up for this. When I made it, the vegetables took over and the velveeta shells and meat faded away. I probably won't make it again.

Three thumbs up and three down. I thought this recipe was pretty good. Wifey didn't care for the italian dressing. Evenly divided among the kiddos.

I seasoned the beef w/ tons of garlic, pepper, salt, worcesteshire sauce, chili powder and taco sauce - otherwise, it would've been WAY too bland. Interesting, w/ the veggies - I used a Fiesta Blend, hence the southwestern flavor. Tastes pretty good. Not sure if I'd make again or not. True test will be hubby.
