Rated 3 out of 5 by from This was easy and the ingredients are things I almost always have on hand. This was easy and the ingredients are things I almost always have on hand. I served it with fresh corn on the cob and sliced home grown tomoatoes. Made as directed with two exceptions. I added salt and pepper and drained off most of the water before adding the beans and BBQ sauce since several reviewers commented that it was too watery. I liked it a lot, my son said it was good and ok to fix again, my husband thought it was too sweet and thought it could use some hot sauce and my daughter added A.1. steak sauce. Overall, it's a good solid recipe and easy to tweet to your liking.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Tried this recipe twice. Tried this recipe twice. First time- BBQ sauce was a little over powering. The second time- about 1 TBS of BBQ sauce, some tomato sauce and worcheshire sauce which was better, gave it a campfire, wood grilled taste. But it still seemed to be missing something even though it had the meat and veggies. The next night I put into a casserole dish and dropped some Bisquick biscuits on top, baked. Served with a small salad, we liked a lot better.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I needed a meal in a hurry but hesitant to make this one as I am not a fan of barbecue sauce. I needed a meal in a hurry but hesitant to make this one as I am not a fan of barbecue sauce. So I tweeked it a little using one can of tomato soup and diced tomatoes instead of barbecue sauce and used canned corn and green beans omitting potatoes. I put a splash of Worcester sauce in it salt and pepper totaste. It came out fantastic and get frequent requests to make this. I will make with a side of corn bread next time.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from When I first read the ingredients, I wasn't too sure about it- it seemed like a lot of BBQ taste. When I first read the ingredients, I wasn't too sure about it- it seemed like a lot of BBQ taste. Should have trusted what I first thought. My boyfriend and I both did not care for it. We each ate a bowl, and threw out the rest. It wasn't disgusting, but it definately wasn't a keeper either. Better luck next time for me, I guess.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have made a similar dish but never thought about using barbecue sauce for flavor. I have made a similar dish but never thought about using barbecue sauce for flavor. It definitely gave it some kick! I didn't have baked beans so I used pork and beans. I substituted beef broth for the water. Also I added one can of corn, drained, because we love corn and to add more color to the dish. My family loved this!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This is the worst recipe that I have ever made. This is the worst recipe that I have ever made. I like all the items in it but it was HORRIBLE. My husband and my son did not like it. Was very easy to make but just plain horrible. BBQ sauce was very over powering and it looked nothing like the picture. It was so bad that I would not even eat it after the 1st bite..

I loved this recipe, I added an extra cup of liquid (I used beef boullion) to make it go a bit further and I seasoned the meat with salt and pepper, so there was enough for 2 nights. The first night I served it with roasted garlic crusty bread and the next night I served it with rice. I would make this again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I added a can of diced tomatoes and used a can of Bush's steakhouse recipe beans. I added a can of diced tomatoes and used a can of Bush's steakhouse recipe beans. I also served it over brown rice. It was fantastic - I also added a green pepper diced up since we love peppers and onions in everything. Good as is - but better with the steakhouse beans and brown rice. Quick and easy meal.
