Prepare these short ribs in your slow cooker. Brown meat and prepare sauce as directed. Arrange browned short ribs in slow cooker insert, top with sauce and cook on LOW 8 hours (or on HIGH 4 hours).
Cool, then refrigerate any leftover meat in the leftover sauce. When ready to reheat, remove and discard any fat from surface of sauce. Cook ribs and sauce in saucepan on medium-low heat until heated through, stirring frequently.
