Best Barbecue Meatloaf

The best meatloaf is also the simplest—with an egg, some onions and peppers and a tangy BBQ sauce glaze.

What You Need

1/2
cup  BULL'S-EYE Original Barbecue Sauce, divided
1
lb.  ground beef
1/3
cup  finely crushed saltine crackers
1/4
cup  each finely chopped green peppers and onions
1
 egg

Make It

HEAT oven to 375ºF.

RESERVE 1/4 cup barbecue sauce for later use. Mix remaining barbecue sauce with remaining ingredients just until blended.

SHAPE into loaf in shallow pan sprayed with cooking spray.

BAKE 20 min. Spread with reserved barbecue sauce; bake 20 min. or until meatloaf is done (160ºF). Let stand 5 min. before slicing to serve.

Serving Suggestion
Serve with smart sides, such as steamed broccoli, and a whole wheat roll.
Variation
Prepare as directed, substituting spaghetti sauce for the barbecue sauce and adding 1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning to the meat mixture before shaping into loaf. Sprinkle loaf with1 Tbsp. KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese after topping the partially baked loaf with the reserved spaghetti sauce.
