This was my first time making chili and this was a great recipe to use as a starting off point. I added half a green pepper, half an onion, an extra tsp of chili powder, a tsp of garlic powder, a cup of tomato sauce and a little bit of pepper. The fire roasted tomatoes were great and I was leary of adding salsa, but it actually added something to the chili. I will definitely make this again.

I chose this recipe because it wasn't as time-consuming as many other chili recipes and I am SO glad I did. I love this chili! My 7-year-old loves it, my husband loves it and last week we had our bible study group over and they gave it rave reviews as well! I have made this chili many times and it gets better every time I make it!

I tweaked it a little and used a different medium chunky salsa, and a can of chopped tomatoes! I also added a little cumin, garlic powder and more chili power. I also used ground turkey! This will be my go to chili recipe because it's so easy and so yummy!

We used pinto beans instead of kidney beans, doubled the recipe, and use a whole jar of salsa instead of the required amount. I have a family full of picky eaters and this was a hands down hit with everyone! Can't say that about most of the things I cook...

I used hot mexican chili powder and doubled the rest of the recipe for our family, used non-fat greek yogurt instead of sour cream, and it was very, very good! I loved that it was a fairly quick version of chili!
