Grilled boneless chicken breasts are basted and served with a special sweet-tangy sauce made with mustard, brown sugar, oil and cider vinegar.

What You Need

cup  yellow mustard
cup  firmly packed brown sugar
Tbsp.  oil
Tbsp.  cider vinegar
small  boneless skinless chicken breasts (1 lb.)

Make It

PREHEAT greased grill to medium heat. Mix mustard, brown sugar, oil and vinegar. Remove half of the mustard sauce; set aside for serving with the grilled chicken.

GRILL chicken 20 minutes or until cooked through, turning and brushing occasionally with the remaining mustard sauce.

SERVE with the reserved mustard mixture.

Keeping it Safe
Use a visual test to ensure boneless chicken breasts are thoroughly cooked. Cut small slit in thickest part of chicken piece. If meat is totally white with no pink color, it's safe to eat.
Use Your Broiler
Preheat broiler. Prepare sauce as directed. Place chicken on rack of broiler pan. Broil, 4 to 6 inches from heat, 9 minutes on each side or until cooked through, brushing occasionally with the remaining mustard sauce.
