Ratings & Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great recipe... great recipe... i made it for a baby shower, so i had to have a bunch, so i used refried black beans, and this worked out great, you don't need as much cream cheese or sour cream if you do this. also, i added a layer of spanish rice and it was a big hit.

I used plain Montery Jack cheese and a bit of sliced fresh Jalepeno peppers and I used low fat cream cheese and no fat sour cream as well. I decided to add finely chopped onions and finely shredded carrots as well. Using tomato, cheese and spinach flavor tortillas adds colour interest and taste.

I have yet to go anywhere with this recipe where it all wasn't devoured before we left! I love this recipe! I double the ingredients and use a package of burrito sized shells...makes a ton! Then I take along mild and hot salsa for people to dunk these into. YUM!!!

Especially good dipped in salsa and instead of using plain tortillas I used jalapeno cheddar torillas. I would double the recipe if making these to bring to a party.
