I "doctored" this recipe up a bit; I added 2 oz of green chilies, 3 cloves of minced garlic, a little garlic and onion powder and a can of chicken broth with some flour for thickening. I also cooked my chicken with 3 cloves of garlic. Once everything was mixed together, I simmered on low heat for almost 2 hours. (Next time I will only use half the BBQ sauce, it overpowered the taste of the chili.)

My family didn't like the barbecue sauce as a base, however. Next time, I will use 8oz of tomato sauce, along with some garlic, and more chili powder and cumin.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very tasty and filling. Very tasty and filling. I used 3/4 cups BBQ sauce, as recommended by others. I also added 3/4 cups corn for some extra flavor and color. I also added 1 diced jalapeno and some cayenne pepper because we love things spicy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from VERY GOOD. VERY GOOD. Chili is so easy because you just throw everything in a pot. I used 3/4 cup BBQ sauce to make sure it wasn't over-powering and it turned out great. My husband loved it and he is very picky. Will make again!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very filling! Very filling! I used two cans of black beans instead of one can of white and one can of black. I also used diced tomatoes and green chilies instead of plain diced tomatoes. I would absolutely make this again soon!
